The highlight of this 3 hour concert for me was when Hattie and Charlie Webb followed Leonard's spoken introduction to ' If It Be You Will with a faultless rendition of this song, their voices soaring around the 02 Arena. Leonard too was on fine form and belied his age with his deep throaty voice as strong as ever. I did feel that some of his lyrics were a bit inappropriate for someone his age,as has been pointed out in reviews, but I'm sure when he wrote the songs 30+ years ago the words were acceptable and suited to his style of writing. May he continue to entertain longstanding fans as well as ones new to his career, and I'm glad that Canada has acknowledged his contributions to the world of music, prose and poetry.

All of the above sentiment true and watertight. Yes, the o2 is a peculiar beast, a veritable captive marketplace - I must've lost over a tenner between the door and my seat to vendors of international repute - that seemed to take a day to circumnavigate.

Emotional, yes - mind you, I was nearly in tears during the opener of 'Dance Me To The End Of Love' (and again during 'Suzanne', despite what seemed to be someone losing their marriage not far behind me which proved to mightily unpopular). I'm not concerned by the financial motivations as I did, indeed, leave the venue thinking that, for an atheist, I'd come as close to the voice of god as I will ever hear. Cohen had achieved almost mythic status for a man still very much alive, and the reality of the man didn't dampen the legend at all.

Minor concerns: Saxaphone solos are always horrible unless they're in 'The Look Of Love' by Dusty...

If it be your will is not a new song - it's on various positions. Great song, well used on the Pump the volume soundtrack.

Terrific show - very gracious and humble.

Wow, it must have been amazing to hear "Hallelujah" live. If only there were still a chance to hear Jeff Buckley's version live these days...
