Thurston Moore, Jim O’Rourke – Original Silence LP to be released

Bit of an oddity this one. Original Silence is the twisted supergroup of Thurston Moore, “Big” Jim O’Rourke plus the additional skills of Mats Gustafsson, Terrie Ex (Ex), Paal Nilssen (Love of the Thing) and Massimo Puppilo (Zu).

Their mess of free jazz and noise will get a second outing on The Second Original Silence LP, to be released on August 11th on the Smalltown Superjazzz imprint.

Original Silence have a single gig coming up, a set at Oslo, Norway’s Oya Festival on August 7.
