The Mules play their first London show of 2008; New album in Autumn

The Mules; “scarily talented” according to our very own John Brainlove. And you can hear why… their ramshackle DIY blend of all things musical, from European Waltz’s to Garage-rock, it’s like an aural thrill rush.

Anyway, they’ve announced their first London show of this year, they’re playing, on June 12th and the rather lovely and intimate Hoxton Bar and Grill. Doors are at 7:30pm and support comes from Micachu and Broadcast 2000 + Black Cab Sessions DJ’s.

Showcasing new material as well as the crowd pleasers that saw their 2007 ‘Pick Your Own’ summer residency at The Big Chill House attract packed out crowds every Monday night. Havee a listen for yourselves over here: www.myspace.com/itsthemules

Tickets are available from Ticket Web and cost £5 in advance.

They’ve also got a whole host of shows in Kings Cross in July, find out more on their website here.
