Bravery is all very well and that, but sadly in this case it is coupled with stupidity. Agree with almost all the follow up comments but I really like Good Lies as well…..but then I am a sucker for tracks that build …and build….

70 – 80% would have been far more reflective of this album’s worth. Glad we’ve cleared that up! Now I’m off to listen to Shearwater…

I too disagree with the 42% (but I do applaud for the bravery of rating such a band so low…speak up even if u upset people is my moto!). I like the album and is definetly more indie than electronic this time around. It is not indeed the record of the year (not even close) but it ain’t bad either…more of a 70-80% for me…

but yeah, not as good as neon golden. which is probably the finest indie/electronic cross over record in the world. ever.

ps. agree about good lies though… doesn’t really go anywhere does it?

Oh no! Rich has suddenly become insane!

I like the new album ok, not as much as Neon Golden, but then I love Neon Golden a whole lot. But yeah, the new one is solid and enjoyable.

i have to agree actually. i really, really like this. a lot more than neon golden. it’s no way near album of the year or anything, but a solid effort all the same.

I think I must be listening to a different record. This is a stunningly beautiful album and ranks amongst my favourite of the year so far. I have to confess I never really got into Neon Golden but I think I’ll have to give it another chance after hearing this. 42% is just a joke! Hang your head in shame!
