Download new My Morning Jacket track ‘Evil Urges’

I should have posted this up on Friday, but never got round to it. Never mind.. As previously reported, My Morning Jacket return on June 10th with their new and highly anticapated album Evil Urges. A few songs from said album have been available to listen to via a live stream from last months SXSW but so far no physical tracks have been available to download. Until now. Grab the title track ‘Evil Urges’ at the bottom of the post. Personally, I can’t make up my mind if I like it or not. I was confused when I heard the live version, and I’m still confused now. Thoughts people?

MMJ’s main man Jim James’ take on the track:
“The world today is such a confused place. Things that people think are good values are obviously twisted, but there are other things considered evil that obviously aren’t. There is real evil out there, but “Evil Urges” is about how all of these things that you’ve been told are evil really aren’t, unless they’re actually hurting something or somebody.”
