Portishead, Public Enemy, Rufus Wainwright and Cat Power for Primavera Sound 2008

Primavera Sound have announced their line-up for 2008. The Barcelona based festival has a whole host of big names this year, with the headliners being Portishead, Public Enemy, Rufus Wainwright and Cat Power

This Thursday 21st of February is the last day to purchase the full festival ticket (subject to booking fee) at the price of 95 €. It will cost 115 € (subject to booking fee) from the 22nd of February.     I think there might be more to come. I’m sure most years the biggest acts were, for the most part, announced latest. I’m pretty certain that acts like white stripes weren’t revealed until after the full ticket price was reached.
    In past years the line up has been realeased in three stages, we’ve only had two thus far. the last release tends to only be a couple of acts, rounding out the bill. Nick Cave maybe?
