MGMT debut on its way

Having become more than a little obsessed with their single ‘Time To Pretend’ (which also doubles as their mission statement), we are delighted to let you know that promising new Brooklyn act MGMT (which is NOT to be pronounced as “management”, apparently) are releasing their debut album Oracular Spectacular in the UK on 10 March.  Self-styled purveyors of “hallucinatory sounds and hook-riddled pop tones for the new millennium”, the band look to be a satisfyingly bonkers addition to the canon of psych-rave-space pop.
