Portishead annouce tour dates

Well, it seems as though the extended wait for both new material and live dates for Portishead is almost over. Even with their set at ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas, I was still convinced the new material would be lost forever…

But no! Those lovely Bristolians have announced a handful of dates for later in the year, touring the new album which will be out in April through Island Records.

Rumours on 6Music yesterday were to expect more dates in and around the April shows in the UK. I’d probably expect some more festival dates as well…
