So, just when you thought they couldn’t do anything else off-the-wall, The Mars Volta surprise us once again.
Not content with releasing their latest long player The Bedlam of Goliath on January 28th via Universal, they’re also to star in their own video game to accompany said album. Just to numb your brains, here’s the official line from the PR sheet:
“The Bedlam In Goliath chronicles The Mars Volta’s time with the “Soothsayer” a/k/a the Ouija board owned by vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala, and its mutation from a source of amusement during the tour supporting the band’s Amputechture album into a malevolent psycho-spiritual force that nearly tore the group apart, collectively and individually.”
