Valerio Berdini braved the Brixton Academy for a show which brought the venue down and restated the fact that Queens of the Stone Age are in his top 5 live acts of all time.

    Well, actually I said in my top 5 live acts this side of the millennium, by the way it was an awesome gig despite quite focused on the latest two albums.

    I saw em at Manchester Apollo and they were amazing, yeah there was a lot of new stuff but also a healthy mix of old stuff. They didn’t play “No One Knows” which was surprising but I’m glad, cos they did play “Lost Art…”, “Leg of Lamb” and “Feelgood…” and if they’d not played some older one’s I’d have been gutted.
