The Envy Corps are back on the road this week for a string of dates ahead of the release of new single Rhinemaidens on October 8th. This follows whats been a rather stressful period for the band after their guitarist suffered a stroke onstage.
The band, currently resident in the UK from their native Iowa, had a scary couple of weeks after guitarist Brandon Darner lost all feeling down the left-hand side of his body at their sold-out Water Rats show on August 29th. After being rushed to University College Hospital, a stroke was diagnosed, and Darner went on to spend a week recuperating there. Thankfully, youth and prompt treatment were on his side, and he’s made a remarkably quick recovery, with doctors giving him the all-clear to start touring again this week. Dates are as follows:
