Sarah Assbring (aka El Perro Del Mar) has started her own blog that will document the progress of her new album From The Valley To The Stars (due January ’08). There isn’t too much info on there at present as the site was only created on Sunday, but what she has posted is the new video for Party. Directed by Emily DeGroot, Miss Assbring gives the following synopsis here:
The filmmaker Emily de Groot made this beautiful yet oddly disturbing film to my song Party. It adds a whole new dimension to the song and almost makes me feel like this is what the song is about rather than the initial meaning. It’s a perfect gem and I hope to have the chance to do something together with Emily in the near future.
