Every once in a while a band comes along that make you realise just why you love music so much. Russian Circles are one of those, they deal in what would best be described as Prog-Metal (there you go, didn’t mention Post-anything).
Enter a six track album is a must buy for any aficionados of dynamic instrumentalism. For a three piece Russian Circles make an incredible noise, angular guitars are layered over grumbling basslines and driving drums often reaching cacophonous crescendos that leave the unexpecting listener eager in anticipation for the next track.
If you like the sound of that my dear TLOBF readers then prepare yourself for something extra special. The Russian Circles are coming to these shores for the first time so get down to one of these dates and immerse yourself in what is sure to be an immense live experience.
