
Currently putting the finishing touches to his second album for Names/679/Warners, King Creosote will embark upon an acoustic tour this May. Joining him on the bill will be Pictish Trial, also known as Johnny Lynch of Fence Records, who also plays in King Creosote’s full band gigs.
King Creosote and Pictish Trail will play the following venues in May:
16th – Dunfermline, Tiger Fest at Carnegie Theatre
17th – Stirling, Tollbooth
18th – Newcastle, Cluny
19th – Stockton, Georgian Theatre
22nd – Eastwood, Theatre
23rd – Birmingham, Mac Theatre
25th – Ayrburns Festival, Spiegelten
26th – Bracknell, South Hill Park, Cellar Bar
King Creosote’s new album is due for release later this year. King Creosote – aka the Fife-based singer/songwriter Kenny Anderson – has been working on the record with producer Jon Hopkins (who is currently working with Brian Eno on the upcoming Coldplay album).
