One of the nicest and least populated festivals in the UK, The Secret Garden Party, have announced some bands for this years festival. Apparently it will have a theme to do with creating “Brave New Worlds” and takes place outside Huntingdon, near Cambridge, from July 25th – 29th.
Some of the highlights include the return of Rilo Kiley to these shores plus Of Montreal, Echo and The Bunnymen and current NME fav’s New Young Pony Club and The Sunshine Underground.

That was a really ace weekend, although I think I have to agree with these guys (http://spoonfed.co.uk/spooners/lowri-257/secret-garden-party-2008-389/) that there were a few minor grumbles – mostly the lack of water points. But I was excited when this lineup was announced and had a great time. Can’t wait for next year!
